Yeah no, it’s not me. And it’s on devianart too? Ugh, no that’s not me either…
This is the only website that I currently have my preferences on
Quotev is basically a website where you can create stories, quizzes, and polls. People mostly use it to post their fanfics and originally stories. You can create your own profile, create stories/quizzes/polls, follow authors, and ‘heart’ peoples works. It’s really great and I love it.
Please don’t steal my writing guys..
It’s not specifically on Tumblr, but on other websites where I’m seeing my preferences word for word, as in people are just copying and pasting. At least give me credit if you’re going to put it on another website? (Yes I do have a Quotev, and I see them..) If you link me or give me credit, okay thats cool. But when I go on and see someone who has taken over 20 of my preferences and claimed them for their own, I just…I don’t know guys. It makes me pretty unmotivated knowing that someone is just going to copy and paste them onto their own profile.. I hope I’m not out of line by saying this and that you guys will support me..
If you see anyone doing this, either tell me or just ask them to kindly give me credit? Thanks to the people who’ve been with me, even when I took breaks. I appreciate you guys so much.
You never thought Scott, of all people, would be the one to lie to you. Being best friends since diapers, you guys told each other everything, or so you thought. Scott had recently been acting a little strange, always running off places, missing some school, being overall secretive. You had tried talking to him in school, but with his constant absent behavior and moody demeanor, the two of you hadn’t really talked in the past week. The next day at school when Scott was once again not to be seen, you sent him a text asking where he was and if he was okay. A few classes went by, and by the end of the day you had simply gotten a text back saying “sick”.
After school, you decided to just walk home instead of taking the bus, seeing as you lived a mere ten minutes away. A few minutes went by in silence as you walked along the side of the street, your bag slung over your shoulder and the wind lightly rustling the trees around you. You heard a twig snap from slightly behind you, making you spin around quickly to be met with a walking figure appearing out of the deep woods. It was like a scene out of a scary movie, a man appearing out of the thick woods, hood up and walking towards the road. You were about to make a run for it when you realized you recognized that hoodie. The hoodie that you had stolen many times before. “Scott?” You asked in disbelief as the figures head snapped up to you. “(Y/N)? What are you doing here,” Scott said as he finally got to the road, his hood still up. “Me? What am I doing here?” you asked, “I’m on my way home from school, and what the hell are you doing here in the middle of the woods? You look sure sick to me.” You scoffed, crossing your arms over your chest. “Look, I don’t need questioning right now,” he said, about to move away from you and continue walking. “Hey!” you said, grabbing the side of his hoodie, making him stop. “You can’t just be missing school, ignoring me and then lying to me and not expect me to ask questions,” you said calmly, knowing yelling wouldn’t help any right now. “Look (Y/N), I can’t talk right now,” He said, removing your hand from his hoodie and turning away. “Well when can you talk?” You said, walking in front of him. He narrowed his eyes at you before looking at the ground, taking a deep breath. “I need to go,” he said threw his clenched teeth, sidestepping away from you, bumping your shoulder as he quickly walked past you. “Scott!” You yelled, as he broke into a run down the street.
You hadn’t spoken to Scott since that day. Two weeks later and you once again found yourself tossing and turning in your bed, begging yourself for sleep. Just as you were about to give up all hope, you heard a tapping at your window. Quickly looking at your phone, you saw the time to be after eleven. Climbing out of bed, you pushed your hair behind your ear as you approached the window, looking out in your backyard.
You saw a flash of yellow, before your eyes focused into the dark, Scott’s figure appearing. You opened your window quickly, wondering what Scott was doing here at this hour.
"Move back (Y/N)" Scott said, making you look at him questioningly before moving back towards your bed. The next thing you knew, Scott was climbing in your window, making your eyes widen. I mean he just got up to your second story window in about five seconds, that’s not to normal.
"How did you-" You started, looking from the window back to Scott. "It’s a long story," he sighed, taking a seat down on your bed, as you walked over, taking a seat next to him. "I just want to say sorry," he said, looking down at the ground, his hands out in front of him, resting on his knees. "Are you going to tell me what’s going on?" You ask concerned, finally gaining the courage to reach over and take your hand in his. "I’ll tell you," he said, looking up into your eyes, "just not right now. I’m still trying to find out a way to tell you without scaring you off." He whispered the last part, making you shake your head. "Scott I’m not going anywhere. We’ve known each other forever, and I’m not going to runaway just cause we’re in those scary teen years now," you said, making Scott break a smile. The two of you sat and talked for a few more minutes in the near darkness, the only source of light being the crescent moon outside.
"I’ll see you tomorrow at school?" You asked him in a teasing manner, making him nod his head and bring you into a hug. "Thanks (Y/N)" he whispered in your ear. Just before Scott climbed out of the window, he turned back to you. "Do you..want to go out tomorrow after school?" Scott asked hesitantly. "I’d like that," you smiled, a slight blush rising in your cheeks.
A lot of you guys want this, lol.
One person suggested a sequel to this with another song preference like “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together” or another song. Any other song suggestions would be awesome! But if you guys want a part 2 for that preference, I will be happy to oblige(:
I made this account a mere 5 months ago in August. Now rolling into 2014, I have a little over 850 of you following me. You guys mean the world to me, so thanks for sticking with me. Here’s to another wonderful year!
Thank you so much(:
Thank you! :D
"And the hours pass by, now I just wanna be alone, but your close friends always seem to know when there’s something really wrong.”
You pulled out your phone once more, the numbers on the screen jumping out at you, making you sigh and place it back in your pocket. Hours. Scott said he would be here hours ago. This wasn’t the first time he was late or didn’t come at all. It had happened on multiple occasions. After having a full on fight between you two about it, he had decided to have a small party, just your friend group and the two of you. He had sworn he would be there, but after a few hours, you had given up all hope. “What’s up (y/n)?” Stiles asked, shoving more chips in his mouth as you smiled weakly. “Nothing,” you said, taking a seat down on the couch next to Isaac who narrowed his eyes at you. “I’ve known you long enough to know that’s a lie,” he said as now everyone in the room looked at you. “I’m just…not feeling to well, I might just go home,” you said, starting to stand up. “Another lie,” Isaac said sadly, as you realized he could hear your heartbeat and tell you were lying. This just made you more upset as tears started to prick in your eyes, everyone gathering around trying to comfort you.
"What do you say when tears are streaming down your face in front of everyone you know? And what do you do when the one who means the most to you, is the one who didn’t show?”
You had felt Stiles and you drifting apart. You had talked to him about it, him telling you that it was just that there was a lot going on in his life. After assuring you that everything was okay with you two, he had promised to attend this party that your family was throwing. He absolutely promised he would be here. Now as you stood surrounded by your family members and a few friends, you couldn’t help but let a few tears escape your eyes. You saw that a few people started to stare, but you couldn’t control the tears that were now traveling down your wet cheeks. You saw your older sister run up, taking one look at your face before knowing exactly what was wrong. Of course she knew Stiles, you two had been dating for what seemed like forever. “Come on (y/n),” you sister smiled weakly, bringing you out of sight of your guests. “You don’t need him,” she cooed as you cried onto her shoulder, letting it all out.
"And there in the bathroom, I try not to fall apart, and the sinking feeling starts, as I say hopelessly “He said he’d be here.”
Closing the door behind you quickly, you put both hands on the side of the sink trying to level out your breathing. After a few moments, you lifted your head up to look at yourself in the mirror. You looked like a complete mess, your eyes slightly red, tear marks beginning to appear on your rosy cheeks , your lips slightly quivering. You felt completely weak as you rubbed at your cheeks, almost begging yourself to calm down. “He said he’s be here,” you mumbled under your breath. You were completely devastated that Derek didn’t show up, but you were determined to not be broken by this. You fixed your makeup that had been running down your face before taking another few deep breaths. Unlocking the bathroom door, you walked out silently, knowing you were not going to forgive him for this.
"Standing there in my party dress, in red lipstick, with no one to impress, and they’re all standing around me singing "Happy Birthday to you," But there was one thing missing"
Today was your birthday, and you couldn’t be more happy. Your parents had planned a giant surprise birthday party for you, even inviting all of your friends. As you made your way around the room in a navy blue dress that Lydia had brought you, you couldn’t help but let your eyes wander around at all the people. “Did you invite Isaac?” You asked your mother as she stood with a few of your family members. “Of course I did honey, he said he would be here,” she smiled, looking around before looking back at you. “Is he not here?” she asked as you smiled weakly. “I’m sure he’s just late,” you said as you continued to make your way around the room, making small talk but your mind being far away. As minutes and then hours passed, you couldn’t help but feel drained. He didn’t come, and that was the moment you knew.
